A leading energy company recently held a seminar for its employees focusing on ways that their internal IT systems providers could improve their services. Various IT companies held stalls to update and inform staff members about their work. Six kiosk stands were placed conveniently next to the stalls. Employees were then able to use their own cards to swipe in at the kiosks.
Employees were encouraged to visit as many stands as possible with an incentive provided that each time he or she touched in at a kiosk it would automatically register their name into a prize draw. As cards were swiped, each swiped serial number was then matched to the individual person. The day proved highly successful and a total of 450 visits to the kiosks were made.
